• Livestock requires an appointment. March through September.
• Call 540-871-4839 or 540-268-3344 to schedule-leave a voicemail if no answer.
• A holding pen is available if necessary - arrangements must be made in advance.
• Hunters Burden is not responsible for the animals until time of kill.

• Kill fees are due at the time of drop-off (cash is preferred).
•• Cows - $100
•• Pigs - $75
•Livestock processing forms MUST be filled out at the time of drop-off. NO PHONE IN ORDERS!
•• Printable forms are provided below. If you are unable to print it, we'll provide one for you at drop off.
•• We will confirm/verify the order and answer any questions you may have at the drop-off.

• Livestock is $0.75/lb to process.
• All meat is vacuum-sealed to ensure freshness.
• You will receive a text message when your order is ready.
•• Payment is due in full at pick up.
• Please check all boxes BEFORE leaving for order accuracy. We are not responsible for order once you leave.
• Handle packages with care. (Rough handling may lead to broken seals.)
• We accept cash, check, or credit card as payment. Make checks out to ‘Hunters Burden’.
Take home expectations: Beef - approximately 40%-50% of the cows hanging weight - noted on your order sheet. Pork - 35%-50% of the pigs hanging weight can vary based on how fatty the pig is.
