EVERY donated deer MUST be tested for CWD
- Donated Deer CANNOT be caped. Also, due to mandatory testing we cannot accept headless deer or parts for donation.
- Euro Mounts: heads will be returned after testing material has been removed.
- Fill out YELLOW CWD TAG with kill location grid number and attach tag to the ear.

DEER / BEAR DROP OFF
•Deer drop off is 24/7, self service.
•All game MUST be field dressed.
•ALL deer must have forms-even donations.
••Forms are located inside the brown double doors, to the left.
••Include name, phone, and check-in #.
••PRINT NEATLY, please.
•Attach tag from the form to rear leg.
•White copy goes in hanging tray, you keep the yellow copy.

To better prepare you for drop off, take a peek at what the Deer Processing Form looks like! Some items are included in the price of processing, but you can get Extras & Specialty items for the additional charge listed.

DEER / BEAR PICK UP
•The time it takes to process deer depends on how many we have, it can be from 1-3 weeks.
•You will get a text message when your order is complete.
•Pickup must be within 7 days of your text.
••After 7 days, a $3 per day fee will apply.
••After 2 weeks, it will be donated.
••NO exceptions.
•Pick up days/hours will be included in your text message, there will be no pick-ups outside of those times.
• We accept cash, check, or credit card as payment. Make checks out to 'Hunters Burden'.

These deer bones are smoked and shrink wrapped. You can't beat the prices! Grab a couple for your furry best friends when you pick up your deer order!
At this time, we do not do mounts at the Hunters Burden.
We are glad to cape your deer for a Shoulder mount or save the head for a Euro mount, but we don't provide the mounting service. You can find business cards, in our office, of many that do. You can also look for recommendations through our Facebook group.

Appointment Only
• Pigs and Cows require an appointment. We only accept appointments February through September.
• Call 540-871-4839 to schedule.
• A holding pen is available if necessary - arrangements must be made in advance.
• Hunters Burden is not responsible for the animals until time of kill.
Kill Fees and Order Sheets
• Kill fees are due at the time of drop-off (cash is preferred).
•• Cows - $100
•• Pigs - $75
• Cow/Pig processing forms MUST be filled out at the time of drop-off. NO PHONE IN ORDERS!
•• Printable forms are provided below. If you are unable to print it, we'll provide one for you at drop off.
•• We will confirm/verify the order and answer any questions you may have at the drop-off.
Packaging/Pickup
• Beef and Pork are each $0.75/lb processed.
• All meat is vacuum-sealed to ensure freshness.
• You will receive a phone call or a text message when your order is ready.
•• Payment is due in full at pick up.
• Please check all boxes BEFORE leaving for order accuracy. We are not responsible for order once you leave.
• Handle packages with care. (Rough handling may lead to broken seals.)

What you can expect to take home: Beef - approximately 40%-50% of the cows hanging weight - noted on your order sheet. Pork - 35%-50% of the pigs hanging weight - can vary based on how fatty the pig is.
